KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) – The Keene High Blackbirds are set for a full week of action across multiple sports, with several key matchups scheduled.

Monday, Sept. 9 The week kicks off at 4 p.m. with several varsity and junior varsity games:

  • Boys Junior Varsity Football will face Spaulding at Bolin Field in Hugo. First Student buses will depart at 1:15 p.m. after a 1 p.m. dismissal.
  • Girls Varsity Field Hockey will host Winnacunnet at the GLax/FH field, with transportation by Wilson leaving at 1:15 p.m.
  • Girls Junior Varsity Volleyball will travel to Timberlane. Adventure Limo departs at 1:30 p.m.

At 4:30 p.m., the Boys Freshman Soccer team will host Bishop Guertin at Memorial Field.

Later games include:

  • Girls Varsity Volleyball vs. Timberlane at 5:15 p.m.
  • Girls Junior Varsity Field Hockey vs. Winnacunnet at 5:30 p.m. at Foster Field.
  • Girls Varsity Volleyball will play Pinkerton at 6:30 p.m. at Keene Purbeck Gym.

Tuesday, Sept. 10 Tuesday will feature golf and cross-country events:

  • Boys Varsity Golf vs. Manchester Central at Bretwood Country Club at 3:30 p.m.
  • Boys and Girls Varsity Cross Country vs. Concord, with a 1:30 p.m. departure.
  • Boys Junior Varsity and Varsity Soccer teams will play at Goffstown at 4 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 11 Midweek competition includes:

  • Boys Varsity Golf vs. Nashua at 3:15 p.m. at Bretwood Country Club.
  • Boys Freshman Soccer vs. Concord at 4 p.m. at Memorial Field.
  • Girls Freshman Volleyball vs. Pinkerton at 4:15 p.m. at Keene Purbeck Gym.
  • Girls Varsity Field Hockey vs. Timberlane at 4:30 p.m. at Foster Field.
  • Girls Junior Varsity Volleyball and Field Hockey games are set for 5:15 p.m. and 6 p.m., respectively.
  • Girls Varsity Volleyball will play Pinkerton at 6:30 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 12 Thursday highlights include:

  • A Coed Varsity Bass Invitational Tournament at Lake Tournament at 10 a.m.
  • Boys Junior Varsity and Varsity Soccer teams will play Alvirne at 4:30 p.m. at Scripture Field.

Friday, Sept. 13 Friday’s schedule includes:

  • Boys Varsity Golf vs. Londonderry at Passaconaway Country Club at 3 p.m.
  • Girls Freshman Volleyball vs. Windham at 3:30 p.m.
  • Girls Varsity Soccer vs. Milford at 4 p.m.
  • Girls Junior Varsity Volleyball and Girls Varsity Volleyball vs. Windham are set for 4:45 p.m. and 6:15 p.m., respectively.

Saturday, Sept. 14 Saturday’s events include:

  • A Coed Varsity Bass Fishing tournament at the Connecticut River (time TBD).
  • Boys Freshman Soccer vs. Exeter at 11 a.m.
  • Boys Varsity Football and Girls Varsity Cheerleading will travel to Nashua South for games at Stellos Stadium at 2 p.m.

Logistics and Support Transportation for away games is provided by First Student and Adventure Limo. Students and community members are encouraged to attend and support the teams throughout the week.
