
Thursday’s meeting begins at 5 pm at the Troy Elementary School.

It was determined that the threat at the Keene Walmart was part of the hoax, but officers did perform a search and found nothing of concern.

The New Hampshire Department of Safety issued a statement saying it’s received multiple calls reporting bombs at Walmart stores throughout the state.

The meeting gets underway Tuesday evening at 7 pm at Whitcomb Hall. It will also be livestreamed on Zoom, however Branley said that is for viewing only and voters must be present in person to participate.

Temperatures in many areas of the Northeast U.S. climbed to the mid-40s Fahrenheit on Sunday, a day after the region suffered through temperatures that plummeted into the negative teens and felt like minus 45 to minus 50 degrees with the wind chill.

The Wind Chill Warning, issued by the National Weather Service, goes into effect at 10:00 Friday morning and lasts through 1:00 Saturday afternoon.

The United We All Win annual campaign wound up pulling in a grand total of $1,349,547, just over $141,000 short of its goal.
