Recognized for his 50-year career in broadcast engineering in Vermont and New Hampshire, Wilner’s contributions include founding Wilner Associates, setting up transmission towers, and designing studios for local stations. Known for his commitment to public service, he played a vital role in creating the Vermont Emergency Alert System and continues to mentor aspiring engineers.

Keene, NH, has launched the “Vision Keene 20-Forward” report, outlining a master plan for sustainable growth over the next 20 years. Focusing on community engagement, the initiative aims to enhance affordable housing, support local businesses, improve transportation, and prioritize environmental resilience. Keene’s 2024 Fall Leaf Collection begins on November 4. The city has outlined important reminders for residents: leaves should be raked to the curb (not the street) by the designated date, and only loose leaves and pine needles will be collected. Homeowners near storm drains should keep them clear to prevent flooding. A free drop-off option is available at the Keene Recycling Center.
