The Keene Public Works Department is set to begin overnight leaf collection in the downtown area this week, using electric leaf blowers and other equipment. The work kicks off late Thursday night, Nov. 21, and will focus on several key streets, including Court Street, Washington Street and Main Street.

Brattleboro police arrested Ariya Sweeney, 22, after an assault and robbery on Canal Street. She faces multiple charges, including assaulting an officer.
