MARLBOROUGH, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) Drivers traveling on Route 101 between Keene and Dublin can expect overnight lane closures starting Sunday, as crews begin resurfacing work on a key stretch of the highway.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation has announced a six-week paving project that will cover the section of Route 101 from just east of the Winchester Street roundabout in Keene to the intersection with Chesham Road in Dublin. Work is scheduled to occur nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting.

Lane closures will be in effect during those hours, and officials urge motorists to slow down, stay alert, and follow posted signs and electronic message boards while passing through the work zone. The resurfacing is part of a larger $7.2 million pavement preservation effort spanning both Districts 2 and 4, with full project completion targeted for June 2026.

All States Construction Inc., based in Sunderland, Massachusetts, is handling the construction. The state encourages drivers to sign up for free real-time traffic updates via NewEngland511.org.
