KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) – The Keene Family YMCA is set to honor Veterans at the 4th Annual Cheshire County Veterans Expo next month.

The event is set for Saturday, Sept. 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Keene Family YMCA located at 200 Summit Road in Keene. According to a news release from the Y the expo brings together local organizations that provide essential services and resources for veterans, including health and wellness programs, career support, education opportunities, and community outreach.

Free lunch will be available for vets in attendance, along with free haircuts provided by Jed’s Barber Shop, raffle prizes donated by local businesses, informational booths from veteran-focused organizations, and other family-friendly activities.

“We’re excited to see this event grow each year,” said Mick Blume, Director of Development and Community Impact at the Keene Family YMCA. “The Veterans Expo is not just about honoring service—it’s about strengthening the bonds within our community and making sure veterans of every generation know they’re supported.”
