SWANZEY, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) – One of Swanzey’s covered bridges will be closed next week for re-decking.

According to the town, the Carlton Road Covered Bridge will be closed starting January 5 at 7 a.m. and the work is expected to last through that Friday January 9.

The bridge will be closed to traffic throughout the duration of the work, and thru traffic on Carlton Road will need to utilize Whitcomb Road to access Route 32 and South Road.
