KEENE, N.H. – (MyKeeneNow) The KHS Alumni Fund gave its annual Outstanding Educator Award to Keene High School science teacher Susan Romano last week.
The Alumni Fund, established in 1998, was founded by members of the Keene High School class of 1950 in celebration of their 50th reunion in 1997. It acknowledges and celebrates the dedication and contributions of exceptional teachers and staff at Keene High School through annual awards-Romano received the 25th such award.
The nomination and selection process involves students, faculty, staff, and support personnel.
Romano’s students and peers describe her as “passionate,” “fun and interesting,” “creative and engaging” and a “kind and considerate teacher” whose class was always eagerly anticipated and makes every student feel like they matter.
All KHS alumni and non-alumni are encouraged to become members of the Alumni Fund and participate in its administration.
