(MyKeeneNow) – Kenneth G. “Ken” Manso, 81, of Keene, died July 29, 2024, at Cheshire Medical Center following a brief illness.

His parents, Leo and Elsie (Warren) Manso, welcomed their son into the world on Jan. 22, 1943, in Putnam, Conn. Her grew up in Danielson, Conn. and was a graduate of Killingly High School.

Ken moved to the area in the late 1980’s, first residing in Hinsdale and later in Keene. He was a parishioner of St. Bernard Church in Keene.

He enjoyed watching TV, however his favorite times were those spent with his family creating many special memories.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Kathleen M. “Kathy” (Lamoureux) Manso of Keene; a son, Michael Manso of Connecticut; a sister-in-law, Madlyn Tilley of Gastonia, N.C.; and his extended family in Connecticut.

He is predeceased by a stepson, Brandon Richardson; a brother-in-law, Thomas Tilley; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Virginia and Oscar Lamoureux.

Family and friends are invited to call Monday, Aug. 12, from 11 a.m. to noon at Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court St., Keene. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Monadnock View Cemetery, Park Avenue, Keene.
