KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) – Keene Police have identified three people arrested following an incident on Island Street last week.
According to a news release last Friday, on Thursday officers with the Keene Police Department and New Hampshire State Police served a search warrant at 193 Island Street in Keene, in connection with an ongoing criminal investigation. On Tuesday, Oct. 22, Keene police served a subsequent search warrant at that address.
Several people were arrested during the service of the warrant, but police did not release any further details at that time as the investigation remained ongoing. Police did note that there was no known risk to the public.
In an update Monday morning, police identified the three people who were arrested: Christian Torruellas, 31, Andrea Martin, 41, and Karen Miner, 25.
Torruellas is charged with three counts of Sale of a Controlled Drug. He was held at the Cheshire County House of Corrections and arraigned on Friday, where he was held in preventative detention.
Martin was arrested on a warrant for Simple Assault. She was released on personal recognizance bail and will be arraigned on November 25th. Miner was arrested on a Superior Court capias.
No further details have been released, but Monday’s release noted that the investigation is still ongoing, and additional charges may be filed.
