MONADNOCK REGION, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) Giving Tuesday, a global movement that encourages people to support their communities through acts of generosity, will celebrate its 12th anniversary tomorrow.
Originally created in 2012 by the 92nd Street Y in New York City, Giving Tuesday has grown into an independent nonprofit inspiring millions worldwide to give back.
It’s more than just a day for donations; it’s a celebration of humanity and a call to action to make generosity part of everyday life. Whether through monetary contributions, volunteerism, or acts of kindness, Giving Tuesday reminds us that everyone has something to offer.
This year, local organizations and businesses in the Monadnock Region are joining the global effort to build a more generous community.
