JAFFREY, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) – Area fire crews have responded to a third alarm blaze on Main Street in Jaffrey.
According to the Southwestern New Hampshire District Fire Mutual Aid log, the fire was reported around 3:45 Wednesday afternoon and was quickly upgraded to a second, and then a third alarm.
It was initially reported at 379 Main Street in Jaffrey, which is the address of the Monadnock Inn, but it is a neighboring structure that was involved.
A section of the road was closed and as of 5:30 Wednesday evening it remains closed so drivers will need to seek an alternate route.
