DUMMERSTON, VT (MyKeeneNow) Two Massachusetts residents are facing multiple charges following an investigation into a reported burglary on Dummerston Station Road.

The Vermont State Police responded to the incident Monday after receiving a complaint about a break-in. Upon investigating, troopers discovered evidence linking Ryan Adams, 40, and Meghan Wheeler, 37, both of Greenfield, Massachusetts, to the scene.

Authorities say the suspects were found at the property Tuesday and were arrested on charges including burglary, unlawful trespass, and unlawful mischief.

In addition, Adams faces a separate charge for possession of crack cocaine.

Both individuals were held on $25,000 bail and transferred to Southern State Correctional Facility. They are scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court’s Windham Criminal Division today.

The investigation remains ongoing.
