HINSDALE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) – Police in Hinsdale are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who was reported missing.

The Hinsdale Police Department said Wednesday that Scott Plante, 62, was last seen on April 16th on Main Street in Hinsdale. Police verified that he is not currently in any area hospitals, and is believed to be traveling on foot.

Plante, pictured above, is described as 5’11”, 215 lbs, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

In an update Friday morning police said that Plante still had not been located. Search efforts are being focused within the parameters of the Town of Hinsdale, and police are asking residents to check sheds, out buildings, or any abandoned structures on your property and contact police if anything seems out of the ordinary.

If you are unable to check a building for any reason, contact the police department for assistance.

Police also included an updated photo of Plante from April 17th shortly after 6 a.m. at Walmart. He had reportedly last spoken to a friend at about 9 a.m. that day as well.

Police also noted that Plante had a recent hospital stay and suffered loss of employment.
