CHESTERFIELD, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) Emergency crews responded to a serious two-vehicle crash Sunday evening on Route 9 near Linfield Lane.
New Hampshire State Police said troopers responded around 5:02 p.m. alongside the Chesterfield Police Department to reports of a serious crash involving multiple patients. Early information indicated the vehicles collided head-on, with possible entrapment, leading to a significant emergency response and requests for additional ambulances.
Officials confirmed that two adults and four juveniles were transported to local hospitals. One of those individuals sustained serious injuries, while the conditions of the others have not been released.
Traffic in the area was reduced to one lane with alternating flow as responders worked at the scene.
Motorists were advised to expect delays and seek alternate routes if possible.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
