DUBLIN, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) — One person is dead and two others were injured following a two-vehicle crash Tuesday evening on Route 137 at Goldmine Road in Dublin.

The Dublin Police Department said officers and emergency crews were called to the crash at approximately 5:22 p.m. September 29. When first responders arrived, they found multiple people injured, including occupants who were trapped inside the vehicles.

Two people were transported by UMass LifeFlight to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, Massachusetts, for treatment. Their conditions were not immediately available.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of the crash.

Police are withholding the identities of those involved pending notification of next of kin.

Route 137 was closed in the area of the crash for approximately two and a half hours as emergency crews worked to treat those involved and police investigated the scene. The roadway has since reopened.

The Dublin Fire Department/Rescue, Jaffrey Fire Department, Peterborough Fire Department, Jaffrey Police Department, Marlborough Police Department, Gauthier’s Towing and UMass LifeFlight assisted the Dublin Police Department at the scene.

Police also thanked witnesses and bystanders who assisted before and during the emergency response.

The cause and circumstances of the crash remain under investigation. Police said no additional information about the cause is available at this time.
