KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) Nova Arts has permanently adopted its pay-what-you-can ticket model, ensuring that cost will no longer stand in the way of attending performances and events at the Keene-based arts venue.
The initiative, known as Access for All, allows audience members to choose their own ticket price for shows—or attend at no cost if necessary. After launching as a pilot program last summer, the option drew strong support from both audiences and artists, prompting Nova Arts to make it a lasting part of its programming.
The expansion is being supported by Savings Bank of Walpole, which has stepped in following the conclusion of an earlier grant from the TD Charitable Foundation. The bank’s partnership provides financial backing and increased visibility for the program, helping Nova Arts sustain broader access to its arts and music offerings.
Organizers say the goal is to eliminate economic barriers while encouraging those who are able to continue purchasing tickets at full price to help keep the program viable for the entire community.
Tickets using the Access for All option can be selected online at novaarts.org/events by choosing a show, clicking “Buy Tickets,” and naming a price under the designated option. Cash donations are also accepted at the door during events.
Nova Arts describes the initiative as part of its broader vision to create a welcoming, community-centered “creative living room” in Keene—one where everyone can engage with art and music regardless of financial circumstances.
Nova Arts is a nonprofit collaborative arts organization that focuses on emerging artists, underrepresented voices, and innovative creative partnerships.
