Improper maintenance and the pilot’s failure to abort takeoff likely caused a small plane to crash into a building in New Hampshire in 2022, killing both people on board and sparking a fire, the National Transportation Safety Board said in its final report

A fire in Charlestown Thursday has claimed the lives of two individuals, according to New Hampshire State Fire Marshal Sean P. Toomey, Fire Chief Mark LaFlam, and Charlestown Police Chief Patrick Connors.

The final phase of Keene’s Sidewalk Replacement Project is set to take place on Friday, June 7, 2024, along Main Street, between Silent Way and Greenwood Avenue. The project will involve final clean-up and stabilization efforts, including excavation and seeding.

Tonight’s Keene SwampBats game against the Upper Valley Nighthawks has been cancelled due to weather. The makeup game will be held June 17 at 6:35 p.m.
