In a preseason poll conducted by the Little East Conference (LEC) coaches, Keene State College’s field hockey team has been predicted to secure the second spot in the upcoming 2024 season.

As the new school year kicks off, the 2024-2025 season is set to begin.  From Aug. 19th through Sept. 1, student-athletes will compete in a series of scrimmages, games, and tournaments.

The SwampBats lost to the Sanford Mainers 6-3 in game 2 of their first-round playoff series. Sanford advanced to the semifinals after also winning game 1 on Thursday.

The Keene SwampBats were shut out for the first time all season in a 6-0 loss in the opener of their three-game series against the Sanford Mainers on Thursday in Maine. 

The Scores Running Club is in the midst of hosting a weekly fun run to fund scholarships for area high school students intending to continue their running at the collegiate level.

As the 2024 regular season comes to a close, the Keene SwampBats are gearing up for a best-of-three first-round series against the Sanford Mainers in the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) playoffs.

The SwampBats hit two grand slams and got their longest start of the season from a pitcher as they drubbed the Sanford Mainers 15-4 on Tuesday night at home in front of a huge crowd.

The Keene SwampBats struggled defensively in both games against the league-best Mountaineers, losing 6-5 and 15-2.
