BRATTLEBORO, V.T. (MyKeeneNow) – Police in Brattleboro are investigating several acts of vandalism reported in the downtown area late Thursday night.
Police said the perpetrator vandalized various locations near downtown between 9 and 11 p.m. Thursday night, including a school playground.

Police are working to obtain higher quality photos of the suspect. He’s described as a white male, approximately 5’ 10” to 6’ tall, and was wearing a green mask, blue jeans, and a black sweatshirt or jacket.
The graffiti included numerous apparent hate symbols, according to police.
“This type of hate and destruction is not welcome and will not be tolerated in our Town, especially on a school playground where children should feel safe from this type of behavior,” police said.
