KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) A 25-year-old Hinsdale man has been indicted on felony charges accusing him of sexually assaulting a child under the age of 13, according to court records.
Jason Lowman is charged with two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault and one count of felonious sexual assault, Cheshire County Superior Court documents show. Authorities say the child was known to Lowman.
The case began in early May, when the child disclosed the alleged abuse to school staff, prompting an immediate investigation by Hinsdale police. According to an affidavit from School Resource Officer Joshua Moore, the child told social workers the assault happened while Lowman was supervising them and other children at a Hinsdale residence.
Police executed a search warrant at the home and arrested Lowman on June 7. He is being prosecuted in Cheshire County Superior Court, where the charges remain pending.
