KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) A new live camera overlooking downtown Keene is now giving residents and visitors a real-time view of the city’s busiest intersection.

My Keene Now launched “Ted’s Cam” on Thursday, offering a live look at Main Street from the heart of downtown. The camera, hosted by My Keene Now — a free local news source — is sponsored by Ted’s Shoe and Sport.

The livestream captures everyday activity in the city center, from community events and festivals to changing weather and traffic. It will also provide a front-row view of the upcoming downtown reconstruction project expected to impact the Main Street area.

Ted McGreer, owner of Ted’s Shoe and Sport, said the camera offers a new way for people to stay connected with downtown.

“We are really excited about having a live view camera for Main Street,” McGreer said. “It’s a great opportunity to see what’s happening with events, weather, construction processes and all things downtown.”

The camera allows anyone — whether they live in Keene, elsewhere in the Monadnock Region, or have ties to the city — to check in on the activity in Central Square anytime.

Viewers can watch the livestream on the My Keene Now website:
