KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) – One person was killed in a single car crash on Route 10 in Gilsum on Wednesday.

The call came in to Fire Mutual Aid around 1:15 Wednesday afternoon. Officials say it appears the truck had briefly left the roadway before rolling over.

Scanner activity at the time indicated that the DHART helicopter was requested but that was cancelled, and the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver has not been publicly identified and police have not released any further details as of Thursday morning.

A section of Route 10 on the Keene-side of Bingham Hill was closed for several hours as crews investigated and cleared the scene.
