KEENE, NH – The final tallies are in for the Monadnock United Way’s United We All Win campaign.
The MUW’s United We All Win Campaign kicked off in September and was focused on tackling hunger, homelessness, poverty, child abuse, and neglect in the region, with a goal of raising $1,490,990 for MUW agencies.
According to a news release, the United We All Win annual campaign wound up pulling in a grand total of $1,349,547, just over $141,000 short of its goal.
Cheshire County Administrator Chris Coates, Andrew Connell of C&S Wholesale Grocers, and Louise Danforth of Monadnock Community Hospital all served as general campaign co-chairs and expressed gratitude towards the community in a joint statement.
“…The team of committed volunteers and staff, along with our engaged partners, has brought the United We All Win Campaign to a successful close for this year,” the co-chairs said in the release. “The amount of support our community will receive through this amazing effort will have positive repercussions throughout the Monadnock Region. Thank you to all who supported the 2022 Monadnock United Way Campaign!”
The money raised through the MUW’s annual campaign is invested back into the community and funds over 30 programs and community building initiatives that address the needs for children, education, and financial stability across the region.
“MUW’s annual campaign is truly a reflection of the caring power of our community,” said MUW President Liz Larose. “We focus on tackling the big issues with solutions that are evidence-based and have a track record of working.”
Looking ahead to its next campaign, the MUW has announced the theme will be “Image What we can do Together”.
