KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) – The Monadnock United Way has announced this year’s Co-General Campaign Chairs.
In an email to supporters Tuesday MUW President Liz Larose announced that Ben Wheeler, Senior Vice President in Commercial Banking at the Savings Bank of Walpole in Keene, and Sarah Kossayda, Marketing Director at Keene State College will serve as co-chairs for the 2024 annual campaign Teaming Up for Tomorrow.
“We are incredibly fortunate to have Ben and Sarah,” said Sophie Carney-Brenner, Donor Relations Manager for Monadnock United Way. “This year’s campaign theme showcases MUW’s dedication to collaboration and partnership in creating effective and enduring positive change.”
Wheeler is a lifelong resident of Jaffrey and is also involved with the Rotary Club, hospital boards, and scholarship funds among other things. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Plymouth State College and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Southern New Hampshire University.
Kossayda is a graduate of Trinity college with an MBA from Simmons University. She’s served on numerous local boards and committees, and she holds a trustee position with the Monadnock Conservancy.
“Both Ben and Sarah have a strong history of volunteerism with Monadnock United Way and other community organizations,” Larose said. “They are the perfect representatives to help communicate MUW’s impact on our community across 30 initiatives and programs in the areas of children, education, and financial stability.”
