BRATTLEBORO, Vt. – (MyKeeneNow)  A suspect has been arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing Thursday night.

The Brattleboro Police Department reported that they received a call about the incident at the Transportation Center located at 77 Flat St. just before 11 p.m. Emergency medical personnel from the Brattleboro Fire Department arrived promptly and performed life-saving measures on the victim, who was transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospita and later pronounced dead.

The suspect, identified as Lavadus Williams, 19, of Brattleboro, was arrested. He was processed at the Brattleboro Police Department and was scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court on Friday.
