TROY, N.H. (MyKeeneN0w) Police are continuing to search today for a man who ran from a traffic stop near the Troy-Marlborough town line and remained at large as of 10:30 a.m.
According to authorities, the individual fled after a stop on N.H. Route 12 and was later seen traveling through wooded areas toward Marlborough. An updated report from police said the suspect was most recently spotted near a cemetery on Marlboro Road in Troy and was still actively evading officers.
The Marlborough Police Department is assisting the Troy Police Department in the search.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man with long dark hair, standing about 6 feet tall and weighing between 200 and 225 pounds. He was reportedly wearing all black clothing and carrying a small bag. Police have not released information about the contents of the bag.
Residents in the Maple Lane and Troy Road areas, as well as elsewhere near the search area, are asked to remain alert and report any sightings to Cheshire County Dispatch at 603-355-2000.
UPDATE: The subject is now in custody as of noontime according to the Marlborough Police Department.
