KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) Residents, downtown business owners and others interested in the ongoing Downtown Infrastructure Project can get an update directly from city officials and the project contractor Wednesday morning.
Keene Public Works will hold its monthly Coffee & Hard Hats meeting at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at the Transportation Center on Gilbo Avenue.
Representatives from Casella Construction, the city’s contractor for the project, are expected to discuss upcoming construction activities, schedules and other work planned in the downtown area.
The informal meetings are intended to give people affected by the multiyear project a chance to hear what is coming next and raise questions or concerns with project representatives.
The Coffee & Hard Hats sessions are held monthly and provide an opportunity for downtown businesses, residents and other stakeholders to receive information about construction plans and offer feedback.
Those who cannot attend Wednesday’s meeting can receive project information by signing up for the city’s email updates. Additional information about the Downtown Infrastructure Project is also available through the City of Keene.
Project updates are also presented during the Keene City Council’s Municipal Services, Facilities and Infrastructure Committee meetings. The committee generally meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. at City Hall. Those meetings are open to the public and are streamed and recorded online.
