PETERBOROUGH, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) – Peterborough will celebrate the community this Saturday with Peak into Peterborough, a free event featuring local businesses, vendors, live entertainment, food and family-friendly activities throughout downtown.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with activities planned in and around Depot Park, Depot Street and Town Hall.

Depot Park will host Vendor Village, giving visitors an opportunity to browse offerings from local businesses and vendors. Families can also enjoy activities including bounce houses and face painting near Town Hall.

Live music will be featured throughout the day on Depot Street. Performers scheduled to take the stage include Bob Denson, The Folksoul Band and Modern Fools.

The celebration will also include horse and buggy rides, a pet fashion show and a soup contest featuring entries from local businesses and organizations.

Several Peterborough businesses are also planning their own special events and promotions during Peak into Peterborough. Among them is Roy’s Market, which will host a Hatch Chile Fest, and Blue Fern Gallery, which will offer a pumpkin painting party.

Peak into Peterborough is free and open to the public, with organizers encouraging residents and visitors to spend the day exploring downtown Peterborough and supporting local businesses.
