KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) – One man was injured in a shooting in Keene before the suspects lead police on a pursuit.
According to a news release from the Keene Police Department, shortly before 4:30 Sunday afternoon police were dispatched to the area of 112 Gilsum Street on a report of a man with a gunshot wound.
Police were able to identify a suspect vehicle, which had fled the area after the shooting. Walpole police later located the vehicle and the driver failed to stop. Police in Walpole and other law enforcement agencies pursued the suspect vehicle until it crashed in Bernardston, Massachusetts.
The three occupants of the vehicle were identified and police believe this is no known threat to the public.
The man injured in the shooting drove himself to Cheshire Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police did not name any of the parties involved in the release.
