KEENE, NH – A teenager was arrested Monday following a burglary at the Marlborough Country Convenience Store.
New Hampshire State Police responded to the store around 1:45 Monday morning where they discovered a brick had been thrown through a front window and over one thousand dollars in vaping products were stolen.
The suspect had last been seen fleeing on foot, but a K-9 team was unable to locate him at that point.
Later on in the day, Marlborough police continued the investigation and reviewed surveillance footage from the incident. Despite the suspect’s efforts to hide his face, police were able to come up with a person of interest and responded to his residence that evening, where they conducted additional interviews and recovered the stolen property and other evidence.
The suspect is a 15-year-old Marlborough resident, and the case has been referred to the state juvenile justice system.
