“The Road Not Taken” Exhibit
Dublin Public Library, 1114 Main St., Dublin
A fine art exhibit inspired by the poetry of Robert Frost, featuring approximately 30 works in pen and ink, watercolor, acrylics, and oils. Each piece is accompanied by a selected verse of Frost’s poetry.

Candlelight Evening in the Phoenix Mill House

Monadnock Center, 19 Grove St., Peterborough | 5-7 p.m.
Experience a candlelit evening in the Phoenix Mill House with costumed interpreters portraying the Prescott family of the 1830s. Learn about their New Year’s traditions while enjoying hot mulled cider. Admission is by donation.

Contra Dance

Featuring caller Steve Zakon-Anderson with live music by Anadama. A workshop for dance basics starts at 7:30 p.m., and dancing begins at 8 p.m. Admission is $12-$20 on a sliding scale, $30 for families, or pay what you can.

Matt Keller Band with JJ Slater
Brewbakers at Nova Arts, Keene | 7-10 p.m.
