KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) – The Greater Monadnock Collaborative held its 2026 Annual Gala Wednesday evening, bringing together business leaders, nonprofit representatives, and community members from across the Monadnock Region for an evening centered on networking, recognition, and celebration. The event served as the organization’s largest fundraiser of the year.
According to the GMC’s website, this year’s theme “Grounded & Growing” reflected the Collaborative’s focus on building strong local relationships while continuing to expand its impact through partnerships, leadership development, regional promotion, and community events. The website said the gala provided an opportunity to step away from daily routines and recognize the collective efforts that support growth throughout the region.
Throughout the evening, guests connected with colleagues and partners and enjoyed a program that honored individuals and organizations making meaningful contributions to the community. Awards were presented across several categories to recognize excellence in business, nonprofit service, and civic leadership.
Honorees included Business of the Year, presented to Savings Bank of Walpole; the Magnify Monadnock Award, given to Inn at East Hill Farm; Nonprofit of the Year, awarded to The Keene Family YMCA; and Citizen of the Year, recognizing John Round.
Organizers said the gala underscored the Collaborative’s mission to strengthen the region by highlighting the people and organizations that contribute to the Monadnock Region’s economic vitality and overall quality of life.
