KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) Motorists are advised that overnight parking restrictions will be in effect in several downtown Keene locations this week to allow Public Works crews to complete pavement line painting.

A maintenance parking ban has been issued from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3, affecting the Elm Street Parking Lot, Federal Street, Gilbo Avenue, Gilbo West Parking Lot, Ralston Street, Roxbury Plaza, and the Wells Parking Lot. During that time, drivers are encouraged to use the Commercial Street Parking Lot.

A second overnight parking ban will be in place from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Thursday, June 4, for Court Street, Mechanic Street, Summer Street, Vernon Street, and Washington Street. Alternative parking will be available in the Elm Street and Gilbo East parking lots.

City officials remind motorists that no parking will be permitted in the affected areas during the posted hours.
