MONADNOCK REGION, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) From live music and theater to classic film, outdoor activities and a Regency-era garden party, the Monadnock Region and southern Vermont offer a variety of ways to spend the final weekend of August.

Saturday, Aug. 29

Regency Garden Party at Barrett House

1-4 p.m. at Barrett House, 79 Main St., New Ipswich. Historic New England and the Footwork & Frolick Society will recreate a Regency-era garden gathering at the historic home of Charles Barrett Jr. and Martha Minot Barrett. Guests can enjoy a cream tea, tours, period dancing, croquet and other games. Period clothing is encouraged, with some garments available to borrow. Tickets are $30 for members, $45 for nonmembers and $25 for students ages 13-18. The rain date is Sept. 13.

Danny and the Deep Blue Sea

7:30-9:30 p.m. at The Edge Theater, 310 Marlboro St., Suite 112, Keene. The final performance of the Edge Ensemble’s production begins at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 general admission and $18 for seniors and students. Other dates, Sunday, Aug. 30, 2-4 p.m.

Charlie Chronopoulos

6 p.m. at Del Rossi’s Trattoria, 73 Brush Brook Road, Dublin. Singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer Charlie Chronopoulos will perform at the restaurant. Admission is free.

Muddy Ruckus

7:30 p.m. at the Listening Room at Prayers of Nature. Doors open at 7 p.m. The American rock duo of Erika Stahl and Ryan Flaherty blends punk blues, Americana and psychedelic rock. Tickets are $15, with seating limited to 20 and available on a general-admission basis. The event is BYOB, and standing room will be available once the seats are claimed.

High And Loathsome

7-10 p.m. at Nova Arts Block at Brewbakers Cafe, 48 Emerald St., Keene. The Brattleboro-based band will perform a mix of songs and improvisation that moves between structured compositions, ambient soundscapes and free improvisation. Doors open at 7 p.m., with music beginning at 7:30 p.m. The all-ages show has limited seating. An Access For All option allows attendees to name their own ticket price, with support from Savings Bank of Walpole.

The Brit Pack

7:30-9:30 p.m. at The Park Theatre, 19 Main St., Jaffrey. The British-born, American-based band will perform songs spanning decades of British rock, from 1960s classics to modern hits. The group features Matt Nakoa, Mark Sidney Johnson, Bryan Percivall and Will Haywood Smith.

Justin Levinson & Josh Glass and Marty Royle

3-5 p.m. at Stage 33 Live, 33 Bridge St., Bellows Falls, VT. Singer-songwriter Justin Levinson will perform with Josh Glass, while Marty Royle will present a solo set. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door, as available. Advance tickets are limited to 40 and guarantee entry.

Bandwagon Summer Series: Homegrown Festival

4-7 p.m. at West River Park, 333 West River Road, Brattleboro, VT. The outdoor festival celebrates southern Vermont talent with music, circus arts and family activities. The Gaslight Tinkers headline, with performances by the New England Center for Circus Arts and Zara Bodé’s Little Big Band. Gates open at 3 p.m. Tickets are $28 in advance and $32 at the gate; children younger than 12 are admitted free. Food and refreshments will be available.
