KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) A 57-year-old Keene man was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle while walking along Lower Main Street Sunday afternoon, according to emergency officials.

The crash happened around 2:25 p.m. near Keene Auto Body and Cocoplum. Deputy Fire Chief Greg Seymour said the man suffered significant, potentially life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.

Keene police identified the pedestrian as Peter Bunk, 57, of Keene. The driver of the Toyota Tacoma involved in the crash was identified as Mark Constine, 60, also of Keene. Sergeant Christopher Simonds said investigators are still working to determine where the pedestrian came from or was headed at the time of the collision.

The incident remains under investigation.
