MARLBOROUGH, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) The police response that prompted evacuations and road closures in the Mountain Drive area Friday morning has ended, and a suspect is now in custody.

In an update posted to its Facebook page, the Marlborough Police Department said the incident has been resolved and the individual involved has been taken into custody. Additional details were not immediately released.

Earlier in the day, officers went door to door along Ryan Road and nearby streets asking residents to leave out of an abundance of caution. Those unable to evacuate were advised to shelter in place. Residents who left the area were directed to the Frost Free Library, and Ryan Road was closed at the Four Corners intersection as multiple state police cruisers lined the roadway.
