(MyKeeneNow) – The previously reported crashes on Route 12 in Westmoreland and on Route 9 in Keene that closed sections of the road this morning have been cleared and the roads have reopened.

Two sections of major highways in the Keene area are shut down this morning following separate crashes. The first closure affects Route 9 eastbound, near the Route 10 intersection, stretching to Center Street in Sullivan. Keene Police announced this closure on social media, citing a serious accident that occurred around 7:50 a.m., according to Southwestern N.H. District Fire Mutual Aid.

Simultaneously, a separate crash occurred on Route 12 in Westmoreland near Goodrum Cross Road, prompting another road closure. Both incidents have led to significant disruptions in the area, with no further details on the accidents available at this time.

Authorities have urged motorists to find alternate routes. Police haven’t released any more details on either crash at this time.
