JAFFREY, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) A 38-year-old man from Antrim was injured Saturday afternoon in a dirt bike accident on private property in Jaffrey. The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. in a wooded area off Witt Hill Road, prompting a swift response from multiple emergency services.

Matthew Gauffin lost control of his trail bike, crashing into a tree and sustaining serious injuries. While his injuries were described as severe, they are not believed to be life-threatening. Gauffin was accompanied by three friends, who quickly alerted authorities after the crash.

Emergency responders, including the Jaffrey Fire Department, Jaffrey-Rindge Memorial Ambulance Service, and local police, arrived on the scene to provide assistance. Gauffin was treated by paramedics before being transported to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, MA, for further care.
