SWANZEY, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) A 21-year-old Swanzey man is facing a reckless driving charge after state police say he was clocked traveling 135 miles per hour on a motorcycle Tuesday evening.

According to a news release, Trooper Nicholas Pannell of the New Hampshire State Police Troop C barracks observed a northbound motorcycle speeding on West Swanzey Road at about 7:30 p.m. on May 26. Police said the rider was traveling in a posted 50 mph zone.

The motorcycle, identified as a 2006 Suzuki GSX1300R, was stopped by Trooper Pannell, who identified the operator as Johnathin Hutchins of Swanzey.

Hutchins was arrested and charged with reckless driving. Authorities said he was later processed at the Cheshire County jail and released on personal recognizance bail.

He is scheduled to appear in Keene District Court on July 1, 2026.
